- Innovation and Productivity Grand Challenge - a 3 year, £3.5m programme involving Imperial, Cambridge, Cranfield, Loughborough and Liverpool Universities together with AIM to explore issues around how innovation emerges formfrom public and private sector investments in knowledge.
- The Discontinuous Innovation Laboratory - a network of 'laboratories' involving companies and researchers sharing experiences and building capability around how to manage the challenges posed by 'discontinuous innovation'. Currently 12 countries, over 40 researchers and 70 companies are involved.
